Who Are We?

TMR Hotel Collection is a privately owned portfolio of distinctive hotels located across Ireland. Each property within the collection is individually characterful, shaped by its setting, and united by a shared commitment to quality, care, and long-term stewardship.

Rather than operating as a uniform brand, TMR brings together hotels that reflect their surroundings and local communities. From countryside and coastal locations to town and city settings, the collection offers a broad range of experiences while maintaining consistent standards across hospitality, comfort, and service.

Ownership & Vision

TMR Hotel Collection is owned by Thomas Röggla. Established in 2014 alongside Lanthorn, each new hotel addition has been thoughtfully considered to complement the existing collection. Investment across the collection is guided by the same principles that have shaped its development to date – thoughtful ownership, strategic investment, and respect for the individuality of each hotel. Enhancing the guest experience, supporting the teams, and maintaining the character of each hotel is the key priority.

The majority of TMR Hotel Collection is managed by Windward Management. This structure allows each hotel to retain its own identity while benefiting from central support, experienced management, strategic oversight, and a shared vision for sustainable growth.

TMR Hotel Collection includes a portfolio of 4 and 5 – star hotels across Ireland, with a focus on investing in and repositioning high – quality hospitality properties. Through Lanthorn’s strategic oversight and Windward Management’s operational expertise, the collection continues to strengthen its presence within the Irish hotel sector while supporting long – term value, strong guest standards, and continued development across each property.

How the Collection Developed

The TMR Hotel Collection began to take shape in the mid-2010s, as Thomas Röggla identified opportunities within the Irish hotel market to acquire established properties with strong locations and long-term potential. From the outset, the focus was on hotels that already held a place within their communities and could be strengthened through thoughtful ownership and targeted investment.

Growth across the collection has been deliberate and selective. Properties have been added over time, each contributing a different setting and guest experience, from countryside and coastal hotels to urban and regional locations. This diversity has become a defining characteristic of the collection, allowing TMR to offer a broad range of stays while maintaining consistent standards across hospitality, service, and comfort.

Following acquisition, hotels within the collection typically undergo investment aimed at improving guest facilities, enhancing public spaces, and supporting operational performance. Rather than repositioning properties away from their existing identity, development focuses on reinforcing what already makes each hotel distinctive.
